Get ready for the DST launch

The H2020-funded project “Subseasonal-to-seasonal Forecasts for Energy” (S2S4E) is proud to announce the official launch of Resilience, its fully functional Decision Support Tool (DST) for the energy market. The event will take place at Norway House, Brussels, on 20 June during the European Union Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW).

The analysis of complex climate data is key for most of the stakeholders in the energy market. However, this information can be difficult to integrate into decision-making processes, and a gap exists between the source of the data and its final users. Resilience has been co-designed together with our industrial stakeholders to narrow this gap and be a game-changer for the renewables sector.

Meet key speakers from the S2S4E partnership in this Official Side Event of the EUSEW19. The panel, led by Albert Soret, project coordinator, will explore how the DST was conceived, designed and tailored to the needs of the energy sector stakeholders. Learn about its features and technical specifications, share your views on the future of climate services, envision the exploitation opportunities of high-end forecasting tools for the energy market and try the DST for the first time.

Registration is open and free to everyone interested in state-of-the-art seamless climate predictions for the sub-seasonal and seasonal timescales.
